Let’s face it after Brad Pitt; David Beckham is one of the most desirable guys on the planet. Love him or hate him, we all know he's an icon and looks a damn load better than we would wearing his gear. BUT we can help you of course!
Women must look at him and think to themselves “if some scrawny failed singer such as Victoria can get her hands on golden balls himself, then there’s definitely a chance for me to bag a Beckham type”

If you are going for the casual look, then Becks often opts for the ever popular look of jeans and a t-shirt (Note: avoid slogan t-shirts such as ‘tell your tits to stop staring at my eyes’- these will not impress any girl worth talking to. Basically there's an easy rule here. Stay the FCUK away from anything with a "clever" slogan. They are about as clever as Wayne Rooney's taste in brasses). If your going all out to impress then go for a well fitted pair if trousers and a shirt (for added Becks-factor you can roll your sleeves up to the elbow to give a casual/smart effect).
Forget trying to match your outfit to another girl's (remember the Beckhams matching leather suit disaster?) and leave sarong wearing for fat ladies on the beach. If you can afford it then go for labels and if not then visit high street stores for good copies. My personal favourite for the average punter is River Island. Of course there are others like Top man, or if you're not blessed with a lot of money, The Officer's Club (big hint here boys, if you shop here, be careful. Stay away from anything that displays their brands - either Matinee or Petroleum if you're trying to pretend they come from somewhere else. You may think that no one else will know, but they will!!)
Colours
Colours play a massive part of how David portrays himself. And they play a massive part of how people view you. Think about it, when you look at certain colours of clothes your mind naturally swings to a certain assumption:
- White - confident, well presented and clean,
- Ddark - moody, stylish, means business.
David nearly always opts for bright vibrant colours or white. This gives him an angelic or clean cut look. A well ironed nicely cut shirt will do you wonders. Try to make sure its fitted (as long as you have the body of course - if not read up our fitness and body advice!)
Remember also that light colours give pyschological images of sunnier climates and holidays. Avoid pink totally. It's too fashionable. Any colour that is high fashion will have you looking like a sheep. Stick to the basics and do them well. If you want to look sexy, rich and well presented, white is the way. If you want to look professional and like you mean business (or if you are fat) go black. Dark browns will work great if you have shiny matching shoes and accessories. Choose a small smattering of all other colours. Never too much of one thing.
Accessories
Beckham loves accessories, from the diamond earring to the bling crucifix's, he's always got something big and shiny to grab your attention. Now be careful! Unless you're a stunner yourself, copying this will just make you look like a wannabe - so think carefully about what you are doing. I differ to Becks on this one because I think less is more. Small little things that occasionally grab the focus will bring people eyes to it. For example, a small piercing on a girl will make you notice it and be intrigued because it kind of feels like you've noticed something intimate. It wouldn't really work if they had piercings all over. Too much for me at least!
So what we recommend is this, if you're wearing white, pick small diamond esque attention grabbers, stay away from massive crucifixs if at all possible. These really will have the girls screaming wanker 9 times out of ten. A particular favourite that has always worked for me is the leather bracelets. You can pick up a decent one for under a £10 at most high street stores. You have two main choices, brown or black, the choice is quite simple, but both. Black for when you are wearing shirts that are darker, brown for light.
For added celebrity x-factor then invest in a few key accessories- Becks is famous for his beanies, belts and scarves too so chuck a few of those on. Also they make you look cool and up with the trends.
The style

Look and learn
If you can, watch Becks on TV when he's doing advertising or he's just talking. He has amazing authority in his body posture. The best person I have ever seen when it comes to using their body is Brad Pitt. Seriously, get out Troy on DVD - watch the way he moves and commands his body posture to imply things. Its an art that will convince people that you are whatever you are pretending to be. During my time I have studied body posture in massive detail. It is far more important than anything else. You can buy all the clothes and accessories you like, but without the X factor, you'll look like a wannabe, and that's worse than anything.
The walk
If you look at Beckham, he never really looks where he's walking. He looks at the things around him. This is used a lot in films as being a way of presenting one of two personalities - 1. Paranoia; the person is looking to see if they are being watched 2. Confidence; the person is looking, chest out, chin up to see who's looking at him. Beckham does this with total ease. But don't think this comes easy. It's a combination of great coaching by leading presentation icons around the world and the confidence he has within himself.
DO:

The posture
Becks has great posture, by standing up very straight and keeping your shoulders back at all times, it will open up your body to the world, showing that you are someone who isn't afraid of attack, also by pushing your shoulders blade further back, you back arches more, giving you the impression of a better physique.
The smooth talker
Obviously unless you are Becks himself then going around telling everyone you are a loaded famous footballer is likely to get you more laughs than dates. So stick to the following suggestions about what to say when you are asked those all important questions:
Q: “So what do you do for a living?”
A: If you have a job you don’t mind admitting to then go for it, if you don’t then bend the truth slightly (telling an out and out lie will catch up with you sooner or later and then you’ll look like a complete prat). For example if you are a horse handler in a stud farm and want it to sound more glamorous then just say “I work rearing and creating some of the best horses of the next generation.” Hopefully that will impress enough to make them move on or if they start to pry then just deflect the question. My top suggestion though is NEVER BE EMBARRASSED. Showing embarrassment about your job or anything will imply that it is something to be embarrassed about. If you stand loud and proud and say what you do, and have good reason, anyone will think more of you.
Q: “Do you live alone?”
A: We can’t all have a mansion like Becks unless you have a seriously generously paid job. So if your still living with your mum (we all know how hard it is to get your foot on the property ladder, but admitting to having your pants washed mum won’t score you a goal with anyone) then answer as follows “Well for the time being, my Mum is living at mine with me. It's all cool though because we get on so well, she's like a best friend.” This will score you big points from the girly side who will think you are really sweet and caring!
Q: “What car do you drive?”
A: Ok so your VW polo wont suddenly turn into a Porsche but you can always say “I've always loved this car.” Most women are crap when it comes to cars and usually pick one by the colour over anything else so if they are too stupid to know their fords from their Ferraris then that’s their problem!
How you answer these questions and act in general are very important factors. One of the main loveable features of our Becks my girlfriends have advised me is the fact that all the fame and fortune doesn’t seem to have gone to his head. Be confident, be assertive but be cocky and over the top and you’re sure to lose the "match" and be out of the league.
