Serum
This can be applied to damp or dry hair if your hair is slightly longer and has split ends, looks damaged or feels coarse. Only apply a little or the hair will look greasy and feel sticky. Also good for defining curls and waves (American crew - intensive serum).
Pre-blow drying treatments
These are applied while the hair is still wet and before you blow dry. These are various different forms such as liquids, creams and sprays. Some will offer root lift, more volume, a smoother finish or more shine (American crew - leave-in conditioner).

Dry/Damaged
Hair may be weak in texture; you may have had a lot of colouring or over styling which has damaged it. It may be brittle or show split ends (Korres - split end treatment).
Dandruff

Coloured
You may have had your hair chemically treated, dyed or highlighted and you want to maintain the colour but also keep the hair in a healthy condition.
Curly or Flyaway
The hair may go frizzy after washing and drying or have a natural wave or curl. Choose products that will calm, tame or define unruly locks (Phyto - anti frizz balm).
Fine/Dull
Hair appears lifeless and needs products to enhance shine and boost volume and body.
